The Ritz-Carlton Shanghai Pudong offers stunning views of the Huangpu River and Oriental Pearl Tower from its elevated location, with convenient access to IFC mall for shopping and dining. While the staff provides excellent service and the rooms are well-maintained, some guests noted that the room conditions show signs of age and the view of the Bund from the hotel is less impressive than expected. The 58th floor bar provides impressive vistas, though the ambiance can be loud, and breakfast is highly satisfactory overall.
